Due to the situation around Covid 19, this event has been cancelled.
The Gisborne NDF Regional Forum is happening on Wednesday 9 March 2022 at Rāngai, Gisborne.
This is a great opportunity to meet colleagues in the GLAM, IT and Cultural Heritage sectors, share your ideas, ask questions about the digital work of museums, libraries, archives and galleries, and to find people trying to solve the same problems as you.
What is it?
Most of the day will be in ‘unconference’ style, where we plan out sessions on the day. Bring your questions, suggestions, ideas for discussion topics and an open mind.
We plan to have a presentation or two but we mainly want to get together and discuss needs, projects and ideas in our sector. If there is something you wish to hear about, let us know! If there is something you want to share, let us know!
Who is it for?
Anyone who works in the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums), anyone who produces digital media projects for this sector (web developers, app makers etc) or anyone with an interest in these areas.
When is it?
Wednesday 9 March 2022, starting at 9.30am.
We’ll have a break for morning tea and a break for lunch, but we can be flexible about the end time but are hoping to wrap up before 3pm unless the conversation is really buzzing.

It’s FREE! But please register so we know how much tea and coffee to organize.
