Contracts for Services
Tairāwhiti Museum works closely with Gisborne District Council through a Contract for Services and Lease Agreement to provide museum services within the Tairāwhiti Region. This contract provides for the majority of the museum’s ongoing operational funding.
Tairāwhiti Museum has a Contract with the Ministry of Education through it’s ELC (Enriched Local Curriculum) Programme. This contract provides operational funding for the museum to deliver our schools education programmes.

Tairāwhiti Museum is grateful for support from Trust Tairāwhiti and Eastland and Central Community Trust and the Ministry for Culture and Heritage toward recent museum projects.
Tairāwhiti Museum partners with many organisations to deliver exhibitions, events and special projects.
